My last post for the year

Dear blog readers
This is probably going to be my last blog for this year, and I look forward to showing you more blog-posts when I turn year 7 :)

Some of my favourite highlights this year was

1. When we got to imagine what would happen if I turned into a super hero and Mr Goodwin into a super villain, including an awesome battle. Link

2. Learning how to use 8-bit art. Experiencing how to use this pixel style was fun and creative.

3. Year 6 camp was one of my most favourite things in year 6. It was awesome to have a fun and unpredictable adventure. Link

Top tips for the future year 6

Walt: write for a specific audience

Dear future campers,

Camp Bentzon is the most exciting thing about year six where you get to do lots of special and different events. It is a big open camp with various wildlife and great helpers and teachers that will help you along your journey. In the camp you will have to conquer certain fears and be prepared for anything because this camp holds a lot of surprises, in that case I'll be here to share five great tips to assist your experience along the way. However you should take caution through every unusual event that takes place in this unpredictable camp.

My first tip is about Killer Hill. The name Killer hill is no joke, it is a very steep and dangerous hill where many have led to their unexpected demise. Jokes but it still takes precaution to accomplish it safely. A solution for a common situation is if your stuck running down swiftly. I recommend sitting on your alec (butt) to prevent going any further even if the floor is covered with rocks, it may save you from terrible injury. If you decide to follow my advice then you may find yourself safe on your adventure through Killer hill.

My second tip includes stealth. In morning tea or afternoon tea or anything were you get something from the walk-way, once you get your first lot of snacks, if you want more I suggest you wait for a bit to let the food servers guard down. Then at their lowest awareness cover yourself in different clothes try to hide your face but don’t make it obvious, and make your move. it’s optional to disguise your voice but I think that would make it worse. Ask or secretly take what's on offer, and for all those greedy campers, that’s how you get seconds.

My third great tip is about feeding the animals. If your outside eating and there are peckish animals around I ask you not to feed the hungry animals. The reason for this is, normally the food you are served from the walk-way are unable to go down the animals digestive systems. So when your outside enjoying your meal don’t feed the wildlife, not in a mean way but in a nice way to keep them safe.

My fourth tip is about sailing. In sailing their will be a lot of vicious challenges that will block your path. A great move you could probably pull off is “tiler to the sail”. Tiler to the sail is pretty much how to turn a boat. I normally do it with a partner so it’s easier. When you do “tiler to the sail” it may help you turn easier, and all you need to do is pull the tiler to your body, and put it straight when it’s pointing to the target. Now you know how to turn a boat properly.

My last great tip is listening: why do I say this? Well, I say this because almost all these tips are mentioned at camp. If you listen than you will do almost all of this stuff properly.

Whether if it includes encouragement or skill, if you follow this information you will succeed at your journey through Camp Bentzon.
