Descriptive writing

WALT: paint an image in the readers mind.

Tress

The trees stood tall on the ground as they were full of leaves that rustled against each other.

Leaves

The leaves moved slowly on the trees as some glided down onto the ground.

Grass

The grass on the ground filled me with calm with they’re bright lime colour as the kept still.  

Imagination/Sticks

The sticks that once belonged to the tree now rest on the floor well other sticks our kept at their home.

Task Description

First we needed to think of things you can see in the picture

Then imagine something that fits this picture, but is not in the picture

Then we go to write the descriptive sentences that describe the scene as a piece of writing.
