Today's Extension

Today, we had one final session of working together with open fort. My group, (Suade, Kalani and Me) had added a lot of progress, this included making a prototype of the track, a list of all the subjects and a 3D base of the start and finish line. Although I'm sad that we're finishing the streets for everyone project, I'm quite excited to see what Toby and Bhav will do with our projects.

Extension project: Streets for everyone

During the past term, The Extension class have been cooperating with a company called the open fort (Specifically these two named Toby and Bhav) working on a project called 'Streets for everyone'. The beginning  of the project started when Toby and Bhav arrived at our class and talked about what they were doing. They explained that, 'Streets for everyone' was a project that consisted of encouraging people to walk explore around Glenn Innes more, by making streets more vibrant and fun. In week 1 (Of working on the project) We had drawn small pictures of themed activities. This is where we started learning the purpose of the project. Week 2 is when we began the actual project, being put into small groups of 3 or 4. Our theme (Kalani, Suade and Me) was a race, based on video games. Tales of the Cavern

One late evening, me and my friends had planned to go to an open exhibition in a cave. When we got there, excitement filled our minds. I ran deeper into the cave exhibition, seeing some magnificent sites. A large ravine sat beneath a bridge. That was truly a marvel to witness. Thousands of gems were scattered on the cave walls. Miners and Speleologists were seen examining the insides of the cave. “Guys, are you seeing this!?” I said as I turned around to see my friends. “Guys!?” I said once more. I seemed to have failed to notice that my friends and I had separated. I panicked as I looked around for them. “This better not be a prank!” I shouted. An eerie noise echoed across the caverns. “What was that?” I thought to myself. The distorting noise increased, I shut my eyes and covered my ears and sat, I screamed until the noise stopped. I opened my eyes and raised my head up. To my dreadful surprise, there was nothing there, just a black void stretching out infinitely. I walked around in this new, strange dimension. “What the” I said, my voice echoing repeatedly. A distorted voice passed my ears. I turned around, to my surprise, there was nothing there. I heard the voice again. “Okay, I’m sure I’m not going insane, right?” I said to myself. “🕈︎♋︎⧫︎♍︎♒︎ ⚐︎◆︎⧫︎✏︎” I heard. I was so confused, I kept walking aimlessly, speeding up to find anything, other than this creepy, dark, void. “🕈︎♋︎⧫︎♍︎♒︎ ⚐︎◆︎⧫︎✏︎✏︎✏︎”. “Who said that?” I turned around, a man dressed in a uniform was in front of me, his face was pale and in panic and his arms were gesturing as if he were trying to grab something. “Watch out!!!” The man said. Suddenly, the world came back to me, I saw the cavern walls once again, but it looked as if it was increasingly flying up. To my horrifying realisation, I was falling down, the man in the uniform reached as far as he could, but It was too late, and so I plummeted into the dark, misty abyss.                The End?
