Last week the year 5s and 6s went to the 29th annual Camp!. We went to school in the morning with mufti clothes and had our day bag for all the fun activities & stuff we were gonna do today. Camp is an exciting experience where you do energising activities with your friends.
It’s also a fun thing because in Camp you don’t do things that are boring like just staying inside. We went on camp on Wednesday the 6th of march and we were gonna sleep in tents in the field. We did it because the teachers wanted us to have a fun experience and our group teacher’s name was Miss Tuiā and our whole group was called Batay which means children in Philippines .
We did activities like Killer Zone, Slip n slide and inside games, like blowing down cups with balloons, bottle flip challenges and also things like bouncing ping pong balls into cups. When all of that finished we went into the ginormous tent to eat our morning tea from our lunch boxes. Our next super call activity was going to be kayaking down at Pt England beach, when we did that, we had a lot of fun kayaking and learning how to kayak.
When we finished we had lunch and then we did our next activity. After that we had dinner and then we watched a cool movie called Small-foot which I loved. I loved all the activities at Camp because they had a lot of intense fun and they were really wild but I actually liked Killer Zone the most of all because most of the challenges in there included working as a team.
I also really loved watching the movie Small-foot because it was full of action and comedy. I think kayaking was my third favourite thing because It was really fun kayaking, thanks for all the other kids that help us know how to kayak. This camp probably wouldn’t be enjoyable if all the lovely helpers weren’t at that awesome Camp.

Task description: We used a template to design our paragraphs in our writing doc well we wrote.
